Carine Omole
Ron Taylor, Board Member
On board since our inception, Ron has been known for his upbeat attitude as well as his unique sense of humor and Christian apologetics. Most of all, Ron brings a passion for Jesus and His Body to "be all that it can be" to our lost and dying community, by meeting people where they are at, not "lording it over them". Ron has been a great encouragement to all of us in this journey, both at the board meetings and activities and through his heart of prayer. Ron and his wife Lorraine are members of Cross Point Church In Binghamton.
Rev. Russ Smith, Board Member
Russ has been in the Lord's service as Youth Pastor and Pastor of Grace Baptist Church in Binghamton for a total of 17 years. He accepted the position of Executive Director at Life Choices Center in Binghamton in August 2008. Russ brings much God-given wisdom and insight to the process of opening the new Rock Solid facility at 197 Robinson. Russ and his wife Andrea are continuing as faithful members of Grace Baptist Church.
Thomas A. Douglas, Treasurer
Tom Douglas is President of T.A. Douglas Associates, Inc. an Industrial Commercial Painting and
Wallcovering Company. He and his wife Tori are members of Hands of Hope Church, where Tom directs the Children's Ministry as well as serving as a Board Member.
Staff
Gary Leber, Executive Director
One of the founding members of Rock Solid of Greater Binghamton, Gary has been instrumental in establishing and building collaborative relationships within our local Christian community. He is also Chairman and a co-founder of The All Women's Help Center, now known as Life Choices Center in Binghamton. Gary and his wife Mary are members of The Landmark Church in Binghamton, where he serves as an Elder and Ministry Coordinator. Gary has been Regional Publisher of the Christian Yellow Pages since 1995. Gary is also Scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop 316 in Binghamton, named after John 3:16. Finally, (but not least) Gary is the proud father of four wonderful daughters.
Tori Douglas, Activity Director
Tori has been instrumental in overseeing our weekly Saturday 1-2-3 program for the last 5 years. Tori also makes sure that there are special times for the kids and families by creatively planning events and outings. Tori, along with others, has made several home and school visitations, and has even been in court as an advocate for local families. The love of Jesus that she and Tom have shared with children of the community and their families is only expected to grow as the new facility opens.
